"The Best Little Whore House in New York"
[The black fabric of her dress drapes gracefully over the beautiful curves of her body. The back is open for all to see the mark tattooed at the base of her spine while the collar is cut low. Her shoulders are back and her chin held high as she leans against the bar with a sultry smile. A crystal clear liquid is poured into a martini glass before it's placed in front of her.]
Thank you. [There is a soft curl to her lips as she places the money on the counter and lifts her drink to her lips. The liquid only brushes against her upper lip when she hears the curt call of a man behind her. She places the drink down, her smile neatly set in place across her lips. She has no interest in this interruption.] What can I help you with? [Her voice is soft and silky like a deep red wine.]
[The man is stout in comparison to her, more so with the heels that raise her a few inches higher. Her posture never wavers however her smile falls, replacing the expression with an defiant stare as he begins to spout off a rabble of words in a loud booming voice.]
Come now! I know what you are. I have enough for tonight whore so show me and my friends a good time.
[As if on cue two other men join him at either side. The bartender pauses his work, his gaze on the gathering as he waves them to take it outside. This is a nice place and they aren't above calling the police, which is something she prefers not to deal with.
Leaving her drink at the bar she turns, her lips returning to their usual smirk.] I was just about to leave anyway. Your only company will be each other tonight boys. [She walks passed them but her response clearly didn't thrill them. They seethed with anger and after downing the drink she'd left on the counter they followed clumsy after her. She's almost able to hail a cab before she feels a harsh pull on her wrist. The tallest man of the group, a lanky figure who rises to Crystal's eye level has her securely held by the wrist and is dragging her towards the alley along the side of the bar.]
We can do this the easy way. [The man chuckles darkly, as he begins to pull of his belt.] Or the hard way.
[Even while being held against the wall her posture suggests dominance. Her eyes glare down at the man, her lips playing into a coy smirk that's been perfectly practiced a thousand times.]
Is it really so hard?
[She asks in a singsong tone. This was the wrong thing to say. The third man steps forward now, looking more burly than the other too. His breath and beard reek of alcohol and with the silent command spoken he raised his hand to strike her in the stomach. They won't damage a whore's pretty face.]

They were moving his way, too. He tossed the cigarette to the ground and snuffed it with a too-expensive shoe before moving stealthily behind a carton as they continued.
He waited almost too long, looking for a good opening, and he was done when the big guy hit her. She was gorgeous, but that didn't matter. He liked her snark, even though he was pretty sure it was at least partially bravado. He leaped over the crates he'd used as concealment, moving with trained speed and accuracy, throttling the man who'd struck her first, grabbing him by the back of his neck and using the man's own impaired balance to throw him to the side. Fluidly, he swung on first one man, then the other, connecting with their jaws perfectly, knocking them out.
The man he'd flung pulled himself to his feet and hesitated when he noticed his friends were unconsious on the ground.
Clay turns to him, straightening the collar of his business suit and brushing off the sleeves.]
Why don't you run on home, pal?
[The man flexed his hands into fists and took a step toward Clay.]
Why don't you try fighting fair this time? The lady's ours.
[A smirk tugged at Clay's lips and a fire lit in his eyes. Fights always did that to him.]
You're on.
[Then man charged, and it wasn't more than three seconds before he joined his friends on the ground. Shaking his head, Clay turned to the woman, a look of concern on his face as he moved to her side.]
Hey, you okay? That guy looks like he's got a mean right hook.
no subject
Her eyes look up at her savior a smile pulling at her lips. It's rare to meet someone taller than her and he is very handsome.]
It's nothing I can't handle.
[That said.]
However I will thank you for your assistance.
[Three on one is cheating and she'd have to cancel appointments if they roughed her up too much.]
Does my bodyguard have a name?
no subject
Yeah, looks like you were handling that pretty well, alright.
[He inclines his head at her thanks but doesn't comment. Instead, he just stands straighter.] Clay. You?
no subject
you can call me Crystal.
[A groan pulls her gaze towards the man who are sprawled across the ground.]
Perhaps we can speak somewhere else? I think I've over stayed my welcome here tonight.
no subject
That doesn't sound like a half-bad idea, Crystal. Any place in mind?
no subject
[She lifts herself from the wall taking a step passed Clay and then over one of the men on the ground. Her heels click softly on the concrete as thin delicate fingers brush a few specs of dirt from her silky dress. Once out of the alley she turns back towards Clay, a light smile playing across her plumb lips.]
Or if you have drinks at your place.
[She has no qualms with where they go.]
no subject
He didn't care enough to make a list of things to fix, but he cared enough not to bring a lady this classy to a place like that.]
What kind of bar are you thinking?
no subject
They were something beautiful in his eyes and she found that she didn't want to look away.]
Do you have a preference?
[She knows almost every high class bar in the city.]
no subject
I'm not really a classy guy. Still interested?
no subject
[Crystal takes a step towards him, her expression remaining in that light teasing smirk. She never expects honesty.]
Why not show me your scene.
[Her voice teases lightly as she continues.]
I think I'll be able to keep up.
no subject
[He smiles.]
You're overdressed.
no subject
I am.
[There is a pause as she looks up at Clay.]
I can change.
no subject
You have a change of clothes hidden under there somewhere?
no subject
No but if you're willing to make a quick stop for me to- [She pauses, her lips curling in a coy smile.] freshen up?
[She takes a step closer to him, clearly unperturbed by personal space and rests a hand on the hem of his coat.]
It'll give you a change to get more comfortable as well.
no subject
He nods at her suggestion, but smirks.] See, I didn't bring a change of clothes, though.
no subject
You could just take a few things off.
[She suggests in a sultry tone though she knows that they'll not get very far if he starts stripping.]
I might have a spare shirt if you're interested. I warn you though. I don't invite people into my apartment.
[Which means he's waiting outside.]
no subject
He was going to cling to this interesting night if he could.]
Fair enough. I'll stay on the front step like a good little boy.
no subject
Her smile is fixed, her blue eyes glittering as they catch the dim light on the street. The taxi from before continues to wait, its meter ticking, clearly hoping to grab the fair.]
We’ll see how good you can be.
[Her voice is softer than before, her fingers rising to lightly trail along the jewel around her neck as if to dare his eyes to look towards her cleavage. With her teasing done she turns towards the taxi and waves for Clay to follow. Her voice is smooth as she tells the drive where they are heading. It will be a 15 minute drive without traffic, her home is a decent distance away from her office. She doesn’t mix business with her private life.]
no subject
I'm a complete angel, can't you tell?
no subject
I can't argue with you yet.
[She eyes sparkle as they catch the passing street lights that zoom past the car. There is traffic but very little considering the time of night.]
Work brought you to Fusion but what more is there to you? Or do I have to guess?
[Crystal continues to smile, her tone light and teasing.]
no subject
I could tell you, but guessing sounds like it could be more fun.
no subject
[She points this fact out easily but it doesn't sound like it bothers her.]
no subject
Long cab ride.
no subject
Guessing it is. How about twenty questions?
[She leans forward slightly, affording Clay a wonderful view of her cleavage.]
no subject
